Naturally Gazania San Leandro Acupuncture And Wellness Center is located in the heart of the Bay in downtown San Leandro, California.  This is a clinic practicing multiple modalities within Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture. 

We provide quality holistic Traditional Chinese medicine and Integrative medicine in a nice cozy relaxing environment.

Specializing in Women's health, pain management, anxiety, and Diabetes Support. The goal of the center is to improve the quality of life of our patients by alleviating pain, boosting energy levels, reducing stress, and bringing harmony to the whole body.

Dr. Gazania, the founder of Naturally Gazania Acupuncture and Wellness Center, takes great pride in her roots as a native of Oakland, CA. As a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist under the California Board, she brings a wealth of expertise to her practice. Possessing a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the prestigious Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, CA. Dr. Gazania further solidified her qualifications with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, CA. Her commitment to excellence was evident through her doctoral externship at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic Integrative Cancer Care, where she actively engaged in acupuncture services and collaborated with the medical director and fellow healthcare professionals to enhance patients care who are living with cancer.

 

Dr. Gazania's professional journey extends to her role as an Acupuncturist in a national urgent care/ occupational health clinic focused on integrative healthcare. Specializing in the treatment of diverse medical conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, nerve damage, post-operative care, and chronic pain, she employs acupuncture, cupping, and myofascial release to facilitate swift recovery from work-related injuries.

With a clinical emphasis on women's health, pain management, diabetes support, and stress, Dr. Gazania holds certifications in teaching diabetes education classes from the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists and Scripps Diabetes Institute Project Dolce. Her dedication to community well-being is further evidenced by her two-year tenure teaching and guiding diabetes patients at a local community health center in Oakland, CA. She created a 12-module course for Acupuncturists entitled  'An Integrative Care Approach to helping people with Type 2 Diabetes using Western and Eastern Medicine" to better equip them to be part of a patient's Diabetes Management Team.

Having worked with individuals from various backgrounds and with a myriad of physical conditions throughout her Master's and Doctoral clinical training, Dr. Gazania brings a holistic approach to her practice. From carpal tunnel syndrome to emotional imbalances, her expertise encompasses a wide spectrum of health concerns, including but not limited to tennis elbow, low back issues, menstrual complications, knee injuries, stress, anxiety, insomnia, digestive disorders, high blood pressure, and fertility.

The inception of Naturally Gazania Acupuncture & Wellness Center was driven by Dr. Gazania McCoy-Washington's visionary commitment to promoting wellness and delivering high-quality holistic integrative medicine to her community. Utilizing acupuncture, Chinese herbs, nutrition/wholefood supplements, and movement, she views the healing process as a collaborative effort between patient and practitioner. Driven by a passion for motivating, educating, and empowering her patients, Dr. Gazania envisions her practice as a catalyst for health and harmony.

In her leisure time, Dr. Gazania indulges in her love for dancing, traveling, spending quality moments with family, unwinding by the beach, and enriching her mind with self-help literature.
